New Patient Information
When you visit our clinic you will be welcomed by our wonderful receptionist staff who can help answer any questions you may have. We will request some basic information in order to determine your benefits and where you are at with those benefits. Wee then go over what they are with you by your third visit. Our initial exams for first time patients are typically an hour long to build a custom treatment plan designed for your individual needs. Follow-up visits there after only typically take 10-20 minutes.
What To Expect:
During the first visit, you will undergo a clinical exam, a consultation, and x-rays if needed. Some patients like to wear comfortable clothing so they can move more freely during the initial exam, but it isn’t required. You will also be asked to fill out our patient intake forms available online or in our clinic if you prefer.
For these forms, you’ll be asked to provide information on family medical history, any pre-existing medical conditions, and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.
After your consultation, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination and will test your reflexes and flexibility and check your range of motion. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as needed as well.
Once we have developed a clear picture of your case, we’ll design a personalized plan for treatment. This will generally include chiropractic adjustments in some form as well as soft tissue therapy and rehab exercises. If applicable, we will also order diagnostic imaging, facilitate a specialist referral and discuss treatment options.
