What to Expect on Your First Visit
On your first chiropractic visit we typically schedule about an hour with the doctor. If you are scheduling a visit because of a personal injury or workers’ compensation claim, you will need 90 minutes with the doctor. Follow-up visits typically only take between 10-20 minutes.
During the first visit, you will undergo a clinical exam, a consultation, and x-rays if needed. Some patients like to wear comfortable clothing so they can move more freely during the initial exam, but it isn't required. You will also be asked to fill out our patient intake forms available online or in our clinic if you prefer.
For these forms, you’ll be asked to provide information on family medical history, any pre-existing medical conditions, and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.
After your consultation, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination and will test your reflexes and flexibility and check your range of motion. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as needed as well.
Once we have developed a clear picture of your case, we’ll design a personalized plan for treatment. This will generally include chiropractic adjustments in some form as well as soft tissue therapy and rehab exercises. If applicable, we will also order diagnostic imaging, facilitate a specialist referral and discuss treatment options.
At Webber Chiropractic, we’re committed to our patients, and that commitment includes helping you navigate insurance and payment options. We participate in most insurance programs and have created a pricing structure that is flexible enough to allow you to get the chiropractic care you need if you don't have chiropractic coverage.
